It is quite common for me to be asked to visit site to show the team how to do something. Understanding and tying steel reinforcement and getting them started with wall formwork would be the most usual. I charge a fixed price per visit whether a meeting, training or supervision. There might be a mix of all 3 during one visit. I am still prepared to manage a couple of jobs each year, in which case I tend to recruit people who need showing how to do everything. I don't like them to have bad practices they picked up previously.
